SUNDAY SUPPER WITH CHEF EMILIO
Sunday, February 26 at Sol y Nieve

Emilio will host another one of his wonderful Sunday Suppers downtown this weekend! Enjoy an intimate meal with the chef himself, featuring a Spanish family-style dinner complete with a roast suckling pig and family-style sides. A salad course and dessert course will also be included in the price. Spanish wines are paired with everything! The reception begins at 6 p.m., and dinner will be at 6:30. It’s also Flamenco Night at Sol y Nieve, which means you can enjoy the entertainment as well. Cost for the event is $55 (tax and tip are extra) and reservations are required. FLAMENCO NIGHT
Sunday, February 26 at Sol y Nieve

Our monthly flamenco night downtown takes place between 6:30-9 p.m. (ish). Come enjoy Spanish song and dance, in a festive environment that makes your meal that much better! The performance is free, and no reservations are required. However, you can sign up for our Sunday Supper tonight and enjoy a very special meal with your flamenco as well.

Give it some international flair with Spanish tapas, which are perfect for parties because they go so well with festive drinks, and because they’re bite-size so people can try many different tapas at a time while sharing an exciting culinary experience. CULTURE NOTE: As part of the Chicago European Union Film Festival, the Gene Siskel Film Center is showing the 2015 Spanish documentary “Cooking Up A Tribute” on March 5 and March 9. This wonderful film about food focuses on the connection between national cuisines and indigenous cultures, and we highly recommend it!
